Product Details
The Insulated Window Sill Support is an essential piece for the perfect installation of aluminium window sills in EWI. The 5° slope ensures the required fall of the window sill without any further adjustments. The aluminium window sill rests completely on the insulated window sill support and is bonded in the longitudinal direction with Power Fix adhesive. This means that there are no cavities under the window sill that could negatively affect the insulating properties of the EWI or or produce droning noise during heavy downpour.
In conjunction with Triotherm, the Insulated Window Sill Support simplifies the installation of the external wall insulation boards, as the window sill can be installed upfront and the EWI boards can be joint later easy and without a bevelled cut.
An appropriate sealing layer underneath the window sill, to prevent water ingress into the EWI, is highly recommended. We can provide you the installation details.
