Air Tight Shutter for Cooker Hoods

One of the easiest solutions to create a perfect seal for extract cooker hoods in regards to air tightness. The shutter opens automatically by the force of the extracted air, when using the cooker hood. When the extractor is not in use, the shutter seals the ductwork hermetically to prevent air infiltration or heat loss.

Application:

• to create air tightness for extract cooker hoods when not in use

Limitation:

• horizontal installation only
• to be used in round ducting only
• not suitable for standard extract fans in bathrooms

• tested in our training & testing facility with 0.0 m/s airflow when installed as advised (video about with test details available on request)
